Take cuttings of Chrysanthemums.
Pot on Fuchsias and Pelargoniums.
Sow Begonia, Glaxinia and Steptocarpus seeds in a heated propagating frame set at  a   temperature of 18°C.

Root Pelargonium cuttings, sow Freesia and Coleus seeds and pots Gloriosa bulbs. Sow Cucumber and Tomato seeds for main crop and Cauliflower, Lettuce and Peas for early cropping
Sow seeds of Impatiants and Primula. Start watering Cacti and succulents again after keeping them dry over winter. Feed potted Strawberries as they come in to flower. Pot on perpetual flowering Carnations.
Chrysanthemums and other subjects will need potting on. Over wintered Hydrangers can be brought into the warmth to start them into growth. Plant out Tomatoes in the greenhouse as soon as the first flower buds appear.
Harden off seedlings that have been raised for the garden. Sow seeds of Cinerariia and Calceoleria. Thin out fruits on Peaches. Take Hydrangea cuttings. Spray plants regularly to keep pests and diseases away.
Finish potting on plants that are becoming pot - bound, and begin feeding plants. Many plants will now need support stakes. Sow Cyclamen seeds and prick out Cineraria and Calceolaria seedlings into boxes.

Pot perpeyual - flowering Carnations into their final pots. Prick out  Cyclamen seedlings as necessary. Start taking cuttings of Regal and Zonal Pelargoniums, Fuchsias, Coleus and other plants which are kept through the winter.
Sow Schizanthus and Mignonette seeds. Pot on Cinerarias and Calceolarias into 9cm pots. Also pot on Fressias and winter flowering Begonias for a colourful display through winter months.
Sow seeds of Clarkia, annual Carnations, Larkspur, Salpiglossis and sweet Scabious for flowering in the greenhouse in the spring. Bring Chrysanthemums and other subjects into the greenhouse before the first Aytumn frosts arrive.
To protect subjectsbrought in from the garden, keep the greenhouse frost-free. Pot on Hydrangers into 18cm pots and Calceolarias and Cinerarias into 12cm pots. From noe on, watering must be done more sparingly to avoid the possibility of Grey Mould.
Insert cuttings of prpetual flowering Carnations. Pot on rooted cuttins taken earlier in the year, into bigger pots. Late flowering Chryanthemums will now be at thier best. Make a sowing of Lettuce seeds for growing on in the greenhouse or garden frame.
Freesias will be coming into flower. Bring Daffodils, Hyacinths and other bulous subjects into the the greenhouse to encourage rapid growth and get them into flower for Christmas. As Chrysanthemums finish flowering, cut the stems within 23cm of the soil.
